A Journey I’m Grateful For

Since launching Support for Stepdads in 2011, I’ve been blessed to share this journey with you.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve consistently published new content at least three times a week – and often more. Together we’ve explored the challenges, joys, frustrations, and victories that come with stepfathering, blended families, parenting, marriage, and faith. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with readers from around the world who are committed to building stronger families.

Because of your support, Support for Stepdads has grown into a thriving community that reaches hundreds of thousands of readers each month. For that, I am deeply grateful.

Time to Rest and Recharge

However, even the most dedicated blogger occasionally needs to step away from the grill, put down the keyboard, and recharge.

Beginning July 1, I will be taking a two-month sabbatical from blogging. During this time, I won’t be publishing new articles, newsletters, or regular content updates. My goal is to spend time resting, reflecting, enjoying the summer, and preparing fresh ideas and resources for the future.

Lord willing, I plan to return in September with renewed energy, new content, and an even greater commitment to supporting stepdads and blended families.

While I’m Away

While I’m away, I encourage you to explore the hundreds of articles already available throughout the website. Whether you’re a new stepdad, a seasoned veteran, a stepmom, or someone who cares about blended families, there’s a wealth of information waiting to be discovered.

Most importantly, remember successful stepfathering isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, staying engaged, extending grace, and continuing to love your family well – even on the difficult days.
