Gerardo Campbell

I started Support for Stepdads after learning that nearly 70% of blended-family marriages end in divorce. That statistic resonated deeply with me because I understand firsthand both the rewards and challenges of being a stepfather. In 1995, I married my now ex-wife and became a stepdad to her two children, who were 10 and 14 at the time. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of the unique challenges stepfathers face as they navigate relationships, parenting roles, expectations, and the complexities of blended-family life. My passion is to share what I’ve learned, along with the experiences and insights of others, to help stepfathers become more confident and effective in their roles, strengthen their relationships, and make a positive difference in the lives of their families.
