Gorgeous Grandma Day ~Friday Humor

Many people believe we don’t celebrate the elderly in our lives enough. Mother and Father’s day are widely celebrated. So, Gorgeous Grandma Day is set aside to celebrate grannies and women of a certain age, even without grandchildren.

The phrase ‘gorgeous grandma’ comes from Alice Solomon, who graduated from Wellesley College in 1984 at 50 years. Alice believed that the term grandma refers to older women who were seen as not useful. Her mission was to change this notion with the Gorgeous Grandma Day celebration.

The adjective gorgeous was included to celebrate older women and inspire them to achieve anything regardless of age. You should spend the Gorgeous Grandma Day celebrating your granny and making her feel special. You could also share these hilarious grandma jokes with her.
