I’ve heard real-life situations make for the funniest stories so I would like to share an event that happened to yours truly earlier this week. I visited the grocery store to pick up a few things.
I only needed one bag but I figured I should bring an extra one just in case. I opened the trunk and found a green bag and peeked inside to see if there was another bag.
I glimpsed a blue bag inside so I grabbed the green bag and went into the store. As I was checking out, the bagger reached inside the gray bag and pulled out the blue bag.
Much to my surprise and mortification what I thought was a blue bag was a pair of blue jockey shorts. The male bagger held them up proudly as to let the entire store know of my blunder.
Sarcastically, the male checker said he can ask the bagger to tie off the leg holes so it can hold groceries. I was so embarrassed, in my defense, I let the checker and bagger know those were clean underwear.
I left the store grateful only males were involved and wondering how things would have gone if women were involved.
