National Plant A Flower Day ~ Friday Humor

In March, everyone looks forward to spring, and with it comes flowers bloom. The National Plant a Flower Day is celebrated on March 12th every year.

The presence of beautiful flowers makes March one of the most colorful months. The warm weather of spring, sunshine and sweet-smelling flowers with vibrant colors is something everyone looks forward to.

History of National Plant a Flower Day

The origin is unknown. However, it’s believed by some green thumbs that March 12th was picked since it falls right in the middle of March when the gardening season begins. Today, people of all age groups, including children, enjoy gardening.  So, anyone can take part in this rewarding event.

It’s vital to consider flowers that thrive in your location before planting. Find flowers that do well indoors and plant them in a pot. Planting perennials can also be beneficial since they grow back every year.

If you don’t have a garden, no worries, you can still partake in this therapeutic activity. With the right care and attention, your flowers will thrive.

The first man approached him and said, “Sir, I don’t wish to interfere with your private grief, but this demonstration of pain is more than I’ve ever seen before. For whom do you mourn so deeply? A child? A parent?”

The mourner took a moment to collect himself and replied, “My wife’s first husband.”

When the town folks came by to pay their respects, they were surprised that instead of an old lady in flower, they saw a tiny baby looking around.
