Children grow up right before our eyes. Any pushing back of scheduled activities to do with kids can be a mistake you may regret later. Our days are busy.

1. Hunting
Who doesn’t enjoy a day in the great outdoors? Taking your child hunting not only teaches them about the nature of life, but it also helps them understand the importance of proper safety around firearms or other weapons.

6. Blast From the Past
Technology has changed the world in which we live. Spend an afternoon with your child showing them relics from your past. From high school year books to reruns of the Roadrunner, you may be surprised at the level of interest they’ll show.
Tell them about the movies you liked and the candy you ate. It will allow them to relate to you on a different level and encourage conversation.
7. Donate Time
Take an afternoon to encourage charity. Donate time at the local animal shelter or collect old clothes for donation. This will instill valuable ethics they will not likely forget.
Find something they are passionate about, and take the time to teach them how they can make a difference. Participating in service to others less fortunate is a great way to spend time together and teach them meaningful lessons.
