World Arts Day – Friday Humor

World Arts Day celebration coincides with the birthday of the famous artist, Leonardo Da Vinci. It is celebrated on the 14th of April every year. The International Association of Art established it to raise awareness of the international artist and the creative ways people can express themselves.

History of National Art Day

International Art Day was founded on April 15, 2022, by the International Association of Arts. The proposition was put forward during the general assembly for a day to be set aside to celebrate fine arts internationally. April 15th was chosen to honor one of the world’s finest artists.

The first official World Arts Day celebration in the U.S was held in Los Angeles in 2015. Today, events and festivals are held in celebration of World Art Day.

You can celebrate this day by visiting a museum or art gallery to appreciate amazing works of art. You can also join an art class if your hobby includes photography, pottery, and other art forms.
