National Lazy Mom’s Day ~ Friday Humor

National lazy mom’s day is celebrated on the first Friday of every September.  It’s a day for moms to take a break from their daily activities and get a helping hand from other members of their families.

The work of parenting never ends, and for many moms, house chores make it twice as hard. However, moms, like anyone else, need to recharge.

Moms around the country observe this day in different ways. You can lend a helping hand to your mom or the mom of your children today. You can also give her a treat at her favorite restaurant. Help her take a much-deserved break.

How to Celebrate National Lazy Mom’s Day

It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate. Simply take the nudge to clean after yourself, walk the dog, or babysit for a mom.  As a mom, take a break to celebrate your immense support and dedication to your family. Do something nice for yourself. You deserve it.

1. I asked my mom why computers are so smart

Mom: because they listen to their motherboards!

2. My mom always used the “here comes the train~” trick to get me to finish my food, and it was very effective…

Because otherwise, she wouldn’t untie me from the tracks.

3. A young girl asked her mother, “mom when you had me did you want a boy or a girl?

The mother responded, “I wanted a backrub.”

4. My mom asked where I was taking her for Mother’s Day?

I told her we have food at home!

5. “Mom, what’s dark humor?”

“Do you see that guy over there without arms? Ask him to clap his hand.”

“But mom, I’m blind…”

“Exactly!

6. Growing up, my Mom told me to never go to the strip club on the edge of town because I would see things I really shouldn’t see.

As soon as I got a fake ID, my friends and I went.

I saw my Mom there.

7. When my parents were getting divorced, I was given a choice to go with my mom or dad. I chose my mom.

I left my dad for milk.

8. I told my mom that when I grow up, I want to be a musician.

She said, “don’t be silly. You know you can’t do both!”

9. My mom told me I’d never accomplish anything because I’m such a procrastinator

So I said, “Just wait!”

10. I was talking to my parents over dinner, my Mom said she was getting tired of the Bernie Sanders memes.

I looked over to her and said, “Don’t worry, this trend will Bern out soon.”

11. What does that couch have in common with your mom?

Both of them are supportive

12. I’m 25 years old and finally decided to tell my parents and the rest of my family that I don’t want kids

The look on my mom and dad’s face was pretty judgmental, but my wife and two children took it really, really hard.

13. I called my mom and told her not to worry, but I’m in the hospital.

She told me, “You’re the goddamn doctor, and this wasn’t funny the first time.”
