Friday Humor ~ A Geriatric Man’s Check-up

An 80-year old man goes to the doctor for a check-up.

The doctor tells him, “You’re in terrific shape. I think you might live forever. How old was your Dad when he died?”

The 80-year-old says, “Who said my Dad’s dead?”

In amazement, the doctor asks, “Well, how old was your grandfather when he died?”

The 80-year-old answers again, “Did I say he was dead?”

The doctor is astonished. He says, “You mean to tell me you’re 80-years-old and both your father and your grandfather are alive?”

“Not only that,” says the old man, “my grandfather is 126 years old, and next week he’s getting married for the first time.”

The doctor says: “After 126 years of being a bachelor, why on earth does your grandfather want to get married?”

The old man looks up at the doctor and says, “Did I say he wanted to?”

“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” ~ Sophia Loren
