Mother’s Day Poetry ~ Happy Mother’s Day

“Happy Mother’s Day” a Mother’s Day poem from a husband/stepdad with deep gratefulness to his wife/biomom for her role in bringing their family together as well as for having their child.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

My darling, my partner, my friend
How can I ever thank you
For the life you made for us.
We laughed, cried, faced sad times and enjoyed happy times,
A family together.
Your children became ours.
Our child was given love, patience, kindness
You set a high bar for us to reach and
Made it easy to attain.
Darling, your patience and understanding
Overcame all difficulties
For this I am eternally grateful.
I love you more today and
Promise to love you even more tomorrow and forever.
You are the finest and best example of what
A mother personifies
You make me a happy man
I wish you the best and happiest Mother’s Day ever
With all my love.
