Happy Father’s Day! Today’s the special day to celebrate the distinctive man in your life who’s there to support you unconditionally. There are all types of dads in the world, but there is an uncommon one, one who’s only tie is through their love and commitment.
This is a strong sentiment, a bond that runs deep because this man chose to be a father and dad to a child not related by blood but one he picks and commits to raising. Regrettably, anything “step” has a negative connotation.
Stepparents have and will continue to “step up” to the plate and accept the role with love and grace. I salute all those stepfathers on this exceptional day. Happy Father’s Day!
