Stepmom Poetry ~ In Memory Of a Stepmother Who Passed Away

IN MEMORY OF A STEPMOTHER WHO PASSED AWAY

I know you are not with us today

I miss you more than words can say

I feel your presence by my side

Ever always to be my guide

You lifted me to reach new heights

Guided me through all life’s plights

To dad you gave undying love

And he stills feels it from above

Passed away

I know I never did express

My true feelings you’d never guess

Respect and love I felt for you

I hope somehow you felt it too

We all must go that way someday

And we will meet again one day

Of this one thing I am sure

An angel went ahead before.

In 1995, I married my ex-wife and became a stepfather to her two children then 10 and 14. I have a biological son, Nathaniel and live in Silicon Valley, California.
