Stepdads Scribol

You’ll see at the end of this post, and the others, six thumbnails related to health and nutrition – this is Scribol.  Scribol is a platform to connect bloggers together and trade audiences.

At Scribol, they believe the most effective way to find content is when you’re already reading an article or looking at a video because when you’ve gotten to the end of the post or have finished watching your video what do you do?

Scribol Website

You can comment, share it with your friends or just leave the site.  Wouldn’t it be better if you could find incredible new content tailored to you?  Over time, the widget learns what you like to click on and serves up, on-brand, high-quality content.

They will eventually create a Family category which I will add, but until then it’s Health.  Of course, there are other categories available so if there’s interest in adding an additional category, please drop me a line.

Scribol.com is a London-based start-up founded in October 2010 by 23-year-old Chris Ingham Brooke.  In this short period of time, Scribol has managed to gain massive traffic to the tune of 26 million unique visitors moving from a few hundred page views a month to well over 140 million and growing.

How It Works

Let’s say at the end of this article you see a thumbnail for “Three Foods to Never Eat” you click on it, first you will go to Scribol and then you must click on the thumbnail again to go to the site with the actual video or story.

Scribol is counting on you being so engaged that you will click on at least three additional stories on their site which will take you to other blogs – evidently it’s working.  I want you to be aware of exactly how it works so you don’t feel taken advantage of.

This is how Scribol is able to have massive traffic numbers in a short period of time.  Please note Scribol scores 100% on Webutation, i.e., there’s no fraud or malware.

Please let me know how you feel about this additional feature by leaving a comment below.  Thank you.
