We are in the middle of the biggest season of giving, kindness and joy.   Join me in committing to performing random acts of kindness this Christmas season. Here are a few ideas:

• Pick up trash.

• Let someone go ahead of you in line.

• Give an event ticket to someone as as a surprise.

• Shovel snow for your neighbor.

• Make a new friend today.

• Call your parents just to say “I love you”.

• Wipe down your workout equipment at the gym.

• Make a positive comment on a website or blog. (Hint, hint )
  

• Tip 50% of your next restaurant bill.

• Thank your police or fire department.

• Make someone laugh.

• Eat lunch with someone new.

• Help someone wrap gifts.

• Be kind to someone you dislike.

• Give your seat to an elderly person.

• Share a snack.

• Tell someone when they have something in their teeth or they have an item of clothing needing correction.
  

• Visit an animal shelter.

• Send a Christmas card to someone who made a difference in your life.

• Bring someone a souvenir.

• Leave change in a vending machine.

• Use re-usable shopping bags.

• Donate used clothing.

• Give someone a piece of gum when you get one for yourself.

• Drop $50 in the Salvation Army bucket.
  

• Cook a meal for someone.

• Thank your mail carrier.

• Compliment 5 people today.

• Start a donation drive at your office.

• Donate Blood.

• Make a monetary donation to the charity of your choice.

• Send flowers.

• Randomly surprise your significant other with candle light meal.

• Pay the tab for the person behind you.

• Start a piggy bank for a cause.

• Return several several shopping carts in the parking lot.

• Thank your employees

• Help someone load or unload their groceries.

• Give care packets to the homeless.

• Put gas in someones car.

• Donate used books to the library.
